14 fter?
http://tampa.craigslist.org/ps....html
Thought they quit making these in the early 80's. 80's retro or something?
Pat ya remember these?

Re: 14 fter? (MMosher)
I don't remember it being a 90's model either, so much for the memory meds I've been taking.
Never drove one, not much of a market here for them. Now the mean 15 on the other hand...that was the real deal.
I snagged a miscolored hull for my cuz in Louisiana, rigged him a 2.0 XR2 on it, that little setup was quite the attention getter. He ran the living guts out of that boat for 12 years and gave it to a nephew, and it's still going. Looks like it's been through grenade practice, but pretty is as pretty does.

I can't find a 14 footer in my brochures, which only go back to 85, but there was a Mean 15 in 1990.

Re: (MMosher)
I remember taking a factory tour and seeing a few of those and a whole passel of mean 15's in wild colors back in the 90's. The guy giving me the tour said they were for export to the japan market, as they have smaller lakes an like smaller boats over there. Maybe someone grabbed one before it was shipped???
Idk,
just a random thought

Japan was a great market for quite a while. Which is why anglers in California got the #1 award because all the japan boats went through them.
And they were F.U.G.L.Y. colors, lot's of yellow and green, purples, yecht....

I had missed it first time I looked in the brochures...thanks! I just looked in that brochure and it's weird, but the transom in the photo of the boat is indeed flat across...but, the layout drawing shows normal angles.
None in the 96 brochure...

That's pretty good, the most insane rigging I witnessed was in Thibideaux LA, a guy bought a mean fifteen and hung a 225 promax on it. And then drove it...I didn't hang a radar gun on it, but it was really quick.
