tax appraisal on my 1993 motor

other then Nada is ther any way to find a true value of my 1993 johnson vj200sletf the county has appraised it for close to 2 grand for a 1993 motor. any suggestions the bill adjusted is almost 100 dollars and this is not counting the boat which is a 1994 and almost 250 in taxes. any help or listings from the blue book would be greatfull thanks

They know I did the rebuild so it is worth that much at least.
