I have a 92 champion and the aerator doesn't appear to work on it. The fill works and if in free flow (valve open) it fills as well, but no aeration. I can not find the aerator itself. In the livewell their are two pvc pieces, one on each side, the one on the starboard side say aerator on it, but this looks like just a tube, not the aerator pump. Where is the aerator on these?
I have a 1994 Champ and mine are in the back well under the battery and oil tank. On mine there is a lid that is laying in the bottom that if you remove the battery and oil tank will just lift right up. But, first turn your switch on and listen to hear if you can hear it running. Also, put a hose to the intake pieces on the back of you boat and see if water runs into your livewell.

Thanks. My livewell fills ok, but can't figure out the aerator. I have one switch that says fill which fills it and one that says aerator, turn it on and the light on the switch comes on but I hear nothing happening.
Tx Champ or ChampioNman will be able to help, I'm sure. In some older Champs, you have to reach into the livewell and manually reposition the fitting from fill to aerate. It's a sort of push/pull operation... If one of those tubes says aerate, that may be what you have to do.
Not exactly sure what you have, but these guys will know...
