New ChampioN member here introducing myself

    Hello fellow ChampioN owners !!!

My name is Mike and I have been lurking, learning and greatly enjoying this wonderful website. I am the original owner of a 1998 ChampioN171 with a 1998 Merc 135L. I had the boat built with some special added options, such as an additional 20 gallon reserve fuel tank. This gives me 42 gallons of fuel vs the standard 24 gallons.

I have started a thread in the Mercury Engine forum looking for some advise on installing an inline fuel pump for my reserve tank. Any help you could lend would appreciated.

Here's the link to the thread.............

I will take some pics of the boat and post them up for you. You'll be surprised what one can get in a small package

    Nice to meet you all,
    Mike

    Welcome Mike!

    Good knowledgable people here.

Nice boat, where are the pics?

No help from me on the inline pump, but somebody will be along.

Thanks for the warm welcome, gents

Give me a couple of days to post up some pics. Besides having some fuel pressure problems with my Merc, I'm having internet connection speed problems. I have a wireless connection and per my interent company who was out last week, my attenna on the roof needs to be mounted higher for it has lost "line of sight" due to the recent tree grow the last few years.

It took me 40 minutes just to make Two threads tonight. My connection speed is less then dailup right now, it sucks ! Once my internet company get's the attenna moved I'll be posting pics like mad, lol

Thanks again for the welcome. Looking forward to interacting on the great threads here.

    Mike,
