    Tunnel Hull

    http://stlouis.craigslist.org/boa/1474977499.html

That 18'4 Tunnel Hull is for sale again looks like they dropped the price a bunch.

A few different pics to see. Kinda a neat old rig. Wish I had the play money for grins. Bet it could be had for $1000.00.

I have nothing to do with the sale of this rig other than historic ChampioN coolness.

I called on that boat. It's sitting at a Belleville Illinois boat dealership. The cap is in rough shape apparently.

WOW. That looks more like a true Catamaran style hull. I was expecting to see a tunnel V like Stratos used to make. Neat that its so rare but it has to be one of the ugliest bass boats I have ever seen.

Thanks, I got it more to suprise my father, he had one just like it when i was a kid. If we can keep it hid and get it done by X-Mas he will be suprised. I have a Allison bass boat, I was only 12 yrs. old the last time I was in a boat like this.
I have a shop in St Charles, Mo. and we do custom boat interiors and gelcoat so we should be able to pull it off

    Re: Tunnel Hull (KonaKustoms)

What a neat surprise!!! I'm sure he will love it!!! Post pics of the restore!!!!

I found a 1978 Champ SuperV a few miles from here. I wish I could do the restore thing. It would be a great project...and I think I could get it for no more than the $600 the owner paid for it! However, besides interior, I think it has a soft spot in the floor...which could indicate further problems.

I think he also is having motor issues..older Merc but not sure of year. Trailer looks fine and has new tires. I need to get back over there and figure out which model (length) SuperV it is.

Re: Tunnel Hull (08 198 Champ)

I will post some pics each week, we stripped it yesterday, I realised it has the original 175 hp motor still on it from new, Motor has one bad piston but can be fixed, the prop is missing so if anyone has any info on the boat or links to info on it, Im concidering making it a factory duel console if we have time also.

Call the dealer and ask where the prop is and why it didnt come with the rig. Maybe he'll give it back.
