    Champions offering in their history

Lets start a full list of the various models, not to exclude anything.
I will get it started :
    183 CX 2007 to current

At the end of this can someone merge the models and place as a tab called "OUR HISTORY" ?
Folks many people ask what year did it come out in? Or when did they discontinue a model?

The history would be helpful and useful!

Re: Champions offering in their history (bassin butch)

Sounds like fun...but...unless someone has every brochure from every year beginning in 1975...pretty much impossible...

My brochures ony go back to 1985..

    Super V's from 75-85

    14 footer (early 80's)
    Mean 15 (early 80's)
16'8 late 70's belive my fathers was 77 or 78
    17'6 (early 80's)
    18'4 (early 80's)
20'01 (came out with the 16'8 I belive)

Tri-hulls were also made in similar lengths but I'm not sure what or when they quit making them. Pat may know.

A few Tunnal Hulls were made. I belive they were 18'4 or so.

Pythons (normal Champion with no top cap).

Again please dont quote me as I was a little fella back then. My father fills in a few blanks for me when I ask but hell its been 25 years since he worked there too.

    Re: (MMosher)

IIRC, the first 168's were 77 or 78. I had a '78 model which wound up going to Pat about 4-5 years ago.

    Some more holes to fill:
    16'8" Swift ski boat
    20'1" Mirage ski boat
    180 '93 ish
    204 '93 ish
    17'6"
Fist 21' bay champ was around '96 or so
    First 202 was in '95
There was a 14' hull also
They made a river drift boat, don't remember what it was called.
Porthouse also bought Back Country flats boats in the mid '90's, those were the cool deal also if you were into that sort of thing.

Re: Re: (bassin butch) added more (bassin butch)

The Fishunter 190 ending in 99. The 194 Fishunter was made 2000 - 2004. No year in 2002.. I'm not 100% sure if they made any 2003's. Never seen one, never seen one for sale.. I usually see, 2000's, 2001, and 2004.

As a side note, they did make a 176 Fishunter and a tiller version. Whether anyone bought a tiller version, I never seen one them either. I wonder how many of them sold. I would love to get my hands on Champion Tiller.. Very Cool...

They say nothing ever really gets deleted from the internet... This old 1998 link still has some information on that year for Elites, Tournamnet and Fish Hunter models... http://web.archive.org/web/199...r.htm

This link mentions Back country models (Takes some time to load though):

198 Elite came out as a 2004 model not 2005(console changed for the 2005 model year).
