Heck that's nothing......we've had lows in the lower 20's and the water temp has been in the mid 40's for a couple of weeks now. Winter is coming early to WI this year

I just stored my 221 this past Saturday. This has been the coldest, wettest Fall that I can remember in quite some time. It's already snowed a few times and it's been routinely getting down into the upper 20's at night.

I'm hoping next year will be better

Just hooked up again

Caught a bunch of good smallies on Thursday. 3 12 was the biggest, so we are looking for some 4's today

Water was 47 degrees and these fish are fat

I cannot remember a fall as bad as this one has been. Usually I can fish the entire month of October and the weather is beautiful. Fall has always been my favorite time to fish here is Wisconsin. We have had cold temperatures, wind and rain constantly. It looks like I'm going to have to move to Canada.

I put my boat away last week and I thought I would start bow hunting. It has been raining ever since.

I hear you! Usually I'm fishing right to November. Pulling stuff out of my boat and its off to storage next weekend.

Then I start serving my term "Months and months of solitary confinement".

I hate winter!!!!!

I prepped mine this weekend and putting her away this week. Basketball usually makes my winters go much faster. I agree with the MI and WI folks... crummy fall. In lake geneva, this time is usally pretty nice cuz the lake is not occupied by too many pleasure boaters... But with hoops coming up, it won't be long and I won't even have time to sit on the toilet!!
