I just realized after taking photos of my vest with it OFF, that next to the Tuy Hoa patch was my USAF Vietnam Vet patch which was SUPPOSE to be above the left pocket. OOOPS. My DaNang patch wasn't on there so now I'm wondering did I not give them that patch. Oh well, but today I became a Lifetime Member of the DAV, so eventually I'll get that patch, so it'll go on the right side above the pocket when I get the correction done. I'm also considering become a Legacy Lifetime Member of the VFW but I'm gonna visit the local chapter which is a half mile from my house and see what they are like.

I hear you, my wife didn't like some of my jokes either, I've been a widower for 10 years now, the girlfriend has too like them since she lives in my house.

I don't know what I'd do if my wife died. That would be a terrible blow to me.

Boats, I like the way how you incoporated both your love of bike riding with the navy experience. I really do like that Navy patch on the back of the vest. Wished I could have found an air force patch in similar design.

Thanks, if I run into one I will buy it and send it your way. That being said, make it through your surgery and hang out for awhile.
