Offer him $1,500.00 it needs a LU and a rebuild and a bunch of work to make it worth anything. People get proud of what they own and what it is worth. . Hell you need a gear case going in and they ain't cheap. And I'm being generous at that price.

Bwaa haa haa. My wife through a kiniption fit when I brought that 14' Aluminum boat home last spring. The "but Honey, gas prices are going to $5 a gallon, this will keep me on the water fishing and out of your hair" didn't work.

I suppose I could PU a hoist and just transfer my current engine back and forth between boats depending on which I want to use. I'd really love to test drive this thing. I'm thinking of driving to the boat dealership where this is at and taking a look this weekend.
