Is there a diff between the thrust washer for a shooter and a gade?
Any reason why a thrust washer for a shooter won't slide all the way down my prop shaft, but one for a raker or gade will?
I never noticed a difference before, so I was curious.

different props use different thrust washers, some are made to go all the way while others allow for a blow out ring and such. also props shafts have different diam and the cut of the angle is different. also shooter props are old school and are not made any longer ( by BRP) Not knowing what engine you are trying to put it on does not help either.
Merc also is known for different washers for different hP and different shafts even tho the same prop and even the same engine ( ie: fat shaft/skinny shaft). call BRP and or your dealer if you are really wanting to put a shooter on your motor they MAY be able to find or order a washer to work, but remember you will need motor number, lower unit number, gear ratio and prop shaft diam.

The thrust washer matches the prop, it came on my GT175 with the shooter prop. I was thinking about running the shooter while the water levels are so low around here right now, in case I chopped a couple rocks, it woudn't hurt my feelings, like chopping them with my turbo or gade.
My thrust washer for my raker fits my current engine, my 97 Venom 200, and my Gt175. My thrust washer for my gade fit the 200 and my current engine, however, it along with my gade is currently on another motor.

Oh and I went by my dealer, not gonna names names, and the only thrust washer he said was available for my boat was for a raker. On BRP's site, it clearly shows one for a 3 and one for a 4 blade.
Not sure I want someone who can't see that looking up parts for me, if you know what I mean.

The thrust washer for the Raker and Gade are different. I don't know about the shooter but I would think one could be found somewhere. A lot of guys still run the shooter, and not for the reason you are.
Part number for the Raker thrust washer: 126870..........The Renegade is 126318....Larger OD on the Raker washer.
Hope your local dealer's part guys doesnt turn a wrench also.
