    Champion Splash Well

    What was the first year they came up with the new splash well design? Thanks

    I think it was around 2001-2003. The older design had the splash well with holes that could drain out the water from backwash. The new ones don't have a splash well and it is all glassed in.

    Just wondering what year the design did away with the splashwell.

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Yep they (ChampioN) unveiled it at the 1997 Guntersville TOC. Pretty sure it was a 19X class boat Kelly Power was giving test drives. Didn't win the boat that year either . It was out of Covenant Cove that year but then it was Mac's Landing.
