Will this prop work ??

A question for the prop experts. A friend of mine has a Mercury Chopper Big Ear prop hubbed for 15 spline small shaft. I have no idea what all that means, but he thinks it might be a good prop for my 93 190 Champion. The big question - will this Mercury built prop fit/work on my Evinrude motor ??? My evinrude is a 1991 Intruder 150 HP (GLEIS Model). Also, will my boat preform well if indeed it can be mounted on the motor (I do not have a jack plate if that makes a difference).

Forget the Chopper on your rig. Stick with an OMC Raker or Renegade. A Tempest Plus will also work but you need the PVS plug system and OMC hub kit. Chopper is made to run a light boat on a surfacing gearcase.

Ain't that the truth Norm,,,,last choper I tried on a small hub ate my lorer unit XR-4,,,,live and learn.
