    Fulton winch teeth stripped?

    Hi everyone,
I stripped the teeth in my fulton xlt winch .
I know it is only a 1400 lb winch and I power load my boat but are they that soft?
What is a good option to the fulton?
    Thanks
    Paul

Yep..... I've gone through 2 in the last 3 years.... Now I put a dual drive winch (set of teeth on each side)..... So far so good, it's been holding up

Well, the spring on the ratchet broke on my fulton. So if y'all throw one away, let me know, I'd love one of the lil springs.

I have thought about replacing the winch completely, but for a spring it is a bit hard to do. So right now I am working on a rubber band solution

I put one of the dual gear winches on my last boat trailer - it never failed....

My father-in-law has one of the electric winches for his 16' Sea-ark jon boat and he sez that's the cat's meow!! (He's 76 and fishes alone all the time....)

NOMAR Retreaver.... Just looked at it after reading your post, and the teeth still look the same as when I put it on....
