Yup that is the size of my garage and I currently have a 17 footer in there right now without a swing away toung and seems like lots of extra room.
Looking to move to a 198 or simular and wondering if she'd fit.
Any options you can suggest ? thanks

Your garage measures 19.5 ft, and the 198 hull alone measures 19'8".
So, I would say the 198 is out.
If your garage measures an exact 19.5 ft inside, it's going to be hard to get any baasboat over 18 ft. in it.
My Champion 183 measures, from tip of trailer tounge to tip of trimmed down outboard prop in rear, 23'2" in length.
Do you have the ability to angle it in? If so, go for it!!!

That's an idea!
I used to angle in a 19'6" Hydrasport 196/Johnson 200, with a 6" jackplate & no swingaway tounge, in a 20 X 20 garage. JUST fit!![]()

My 200 (which is 19'-8") requires like 24'-0" for it to go straight back and thats with the swing away tongue....as it is right about 23'-6" long with the motor down!

sorry guys, yeah it would have to be on an angle... I have to do that with my 17 footer right now.
My 181 with swing away trailer tounge, motor down and turned etc., needs 21'3" pretty much straight.
Mountain Home ChamP 181
Measured from courner to courner and we are over 25 feet but I have my doubts anything over 20 foot with a swing away would fit. I also think a single anxle is probably best so I can move it into place by hand.
If you want a tandem axle, I know some of our folks use Go-jacks. They make it very easy to move your trailer in all directions.
