    Owners' Manual

I just bought my first Champion 2003 206 elite with Yam 225. It did not come with owner's manual. Where could I pick one up? Can I get spare keys made at the local hardware store?

    Re: Owners' Manual (pattece)

I'm pretty sure none are available. I am checking with the factory for you. However, they are pretty generic, so if you have any questions, I bet the folks here in the forum will be able to help you....

I would think you could get keys made with no problem.

You can give C&O Parts a call. They probably have an owners manual, albeit pretty generic. Might also contact Champion since the 2003 models are the first of the TN boats.

On the keys, if you can't get one at your local Yahama dealer, I'd try a locksmith before a hardware store.

    Good luck!

This might be a stupid question, but I see what I think is a fuse box under the dash, does the 206 have fuses, how do you change them? How do you get the fuses or breakers in the back by the batteries changed out?

    Re: Owners' Manual (pattece)

I'm not familiar with the TN boats, but everything with the possible exception of the electronics will run to breakers. The electronics would have an in-line fuse and either connect to the battery buss or the main power switch buss.

You normally don't have to change breakers, just reset them.

In-line fuses on your switches, main fuse on mine was in the battery area on the starboard side on the wall.

    Re: Owners' Manual (pattece)

Talked to a guy at work, they are breakers. Oh yeah by the way, man do you have a lot of storage in these boats, I have owned a Skeeter, Triton, and two Rangers, and think I have finally found the perfect boat. I don't care how fast I go, just so when I get there I can fish instead taking ibuprofen for may back. I decided on a champion because every champion owner I talk to says it is the best ride out period. I am taking it out this weekend for the first time, will let you know what I think. Will have pics two (Blue and white).

    Re: Owners' Manual (pattece)

I have a 2004/206 elite and I think I have the manual and all the original paperwork. Is there a specific question or do you just want a manual? I could copy it and mail. Let me know.

    Re: Owners' Manual (gleninaz)

I just had a few questions, but looks like all I have to do is post it on this site and get all the answers. Thanks for the gesture though, much appreciated. My boat is a 2003 and love it. Any odd things I should know about?
