sold my 16 foot aluminum boat and went and bought a 2004 187cxl with a merc 150 efi. drove 450 miles one way to pick up. got a heck of a deal. well taken care of.guy said he probably only used it 2025 times since new. not a mark on her. when i get pics ill post. any elpful tips or things to be aware of, feel free to share.
thanks, been reading the boards for a year or so, just never posted. lots of great info on here. seen people do things for other people on here and everyone seems to really have a good bond. when i had my old boat, i kind of felt like i had nothing to really add, so i just kinda read what everyone had to say. learned alot, look forward to learning more. got an empty seat for anyone in the area, or visiting. would love to find someone close willing to go out one evening on the ohio river and show me the proper way to operate this boat.
There are lots of great folks on here and I'm sure there are some in the area but we definitely going to have to see some pics of that boat!

got a couple better pics .had it out today and could only manage 51-52 mph on the gps. only turning 4900-5000 rpms. know i should be getting more out of her. any tips?
