my aerator timer stopped working while fishing a tournament last weekend. the "fill" button still worked so i spent most of the day manually switching it on and off to add water to the wells.
checked voltage at the switch on the console. seems to be working properly, but i can't figure out how to check the timer, and i'm having trouble following the wires from the timer into the gunnel.
does anyone know the schematics of the wiring between the switch, timer, and pump? assuming that the timer operates the same pump as the fill switch, my pump is still working.
i pulled the timer out to inspect. the wire (red=hot, blk=ground, brown=to pump) leads all go into the timer housing with no outside connections. looks like i'll have to splice into the wires to check for juice.
if i figure out that it is the timer and not a loose connection somewhere, can anyone recommend a replacement timer? i can't seem to find a direct replacement online anywhere.
thanks!
