    Water Pressure

Lost water pressure on the gauge this weekend but the motor 06 ETEC150 HO still had a steady stream out the back of the motor and made it back the 30 minute run and didn't get hot. Was wondering what to check since this is the first time this has happened to me. any help would be appreciated.

Hose to the gauge off the motor, pinched in the rigging, or off the gauge??? Leg getting wet? Should be able to get looked at under warranty.

leg was not wet, pulled the gauge and connection is tight, didn't think about the rigging, I just had the seals in the LU replaced under warranty, is there anyway it could be a problem in there? anyone know of a good rude shop around Guntersville?

    Thanks Matt

With the motor cover removed look at the starboard side of the engine near the starter solenoid. You will see a 1/8" NPT nipple with a small dia. hose connected. Pull the hose off and run the engine with a water hose and motor flusher. Water should come out the nipple. If it does, pull the hose off the gauge and use compressed air to blow through the hose to see if hose is plugged with debris or pinched/kinked. If water doesn't come out of the nipple, remove the nipple (unscrew) and check for debris in the hole or nipple.

If you don't feel comfortable doing this then take it in to a good Evinrude tech.

Aeromarine in Trussville can work on it. They are about an hour from the Big G.
