    Gel coat

OK so I ran wot over 4 foot rollers all day saturday! I noticed the rear corner of my topcap has a bunch of new cracks that are very obvious. I wiped the boat down the day before and they weren't there. Is this from the transom flexing on the rough ride? I figure it is my problem but want to make sure it is not a hull defect before I get it repaired. Not a spider web look but angular cracks. Boat is a 2004 206 elite. Thanks.

Glen is being humble - there were 5' rollers Saturday! There were problems and mishaps all over the lake. Bummer about the spider veins, Glen. I've had one spot on my 187 for a few years like that. It looks like a golf ball hit it only without the chip or dent - just the spider vein webbing out.
How many overs were weighed in Saturday with CBC?

Look at the bright side, if you were in anything else, you may be concerned about more than cracks in the getlcoat!

I have no complaints about the Champion! That boat survived the Mead owners tournament and now this. That boat is the best ever and will take some serious pounding without getting wet. Bilge never went off and my carpet on the floor was dry!! I will take a few shots and call the factory but nothing could hold a big 250 pounding waves and not suffer some. I might have Open Throttle look at it. Need to meet the new dealer anyway.

On the tourney we weighed maybe six overs but one was 6.6#. Sunday was calm and much better. I weighed a 15 inch 2# crappie that hit my spinnerbait!

My 2005 188 eats 4' boat traffic coming from all directions for lunch at 45 mph. Just tuck the nose down you would think it was calm out I was amazed the first time I did it. Then with my wife in the boat. She said you learned how to drive I said you are now quiet and let me drive not yelling your going too fast.
