no cons.other than being 2-3 mph slower than another 18'er,but youll make it up in the rough stuff.absolutely the best 18 foot boat I've ever been in
Quad is right...no cons! The boat rides and fishes like a much larger rig. Plenty of storage...Fun as heck to drive, too!
Got mine in Sept. Great boat. I've posted re: all the things I like about it previously, as have others, so may want to do a search. Only negative is doesn't fish as well in wind as Cobra I had, but the Cobra was a bigger boat and certainly didn't ride as well.
60 mph plus on gps more deck room than the average 20footer great boat you should call the guys at GRAMMER MARINE
The only "cons" I can come up with is it takes over 22 feet to store in a garage, and I prefer the traditional Champion carpeted glassed in boxes over the plastic drop ins.
The boat has so many pluses that out weigh those "cons" I would have bought one if it would have fit in the garage. GREAT boat, HUGE deck for a "18'3" rig. It drives like a go cart, handles corners like a friggen go cart (I proved that one in a demo ride to a doubter), and IMHO has the best compromise between rear and under seat tank with the behind the seat gas tank of the entire current Champion line up.
