200 FICHT NEEDS SEAHORSE AND /OR RUSTY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Model re200flssh Ser# G04825246 I talked with you guys before. My 2000 200 Ficht lost about 1000 rpm's and seems to be a little rough under a load. My mechanic hooked to computer has no codes. We changed plugs Didn't help. We ran all diagnostics we could from the laptop spark test, dropped cylinders etc. we can find nothing.Today he's is going to check the lift pump diaphram.Do you think we are ggoing the right direction? Any suggestions? Motor runs fine on a hose or not in gear, put it in gear under a load and a little rough. also went from 5900 rpm to only 4900 rpm at wot. I told my guy iI would check with you to see if you had any suggestions.

    Thanks
    Doug Mcgee

Be sure the tech hooks up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail and watch the pressure when the motor acts up. Also be sure the system holds pressure after you turn the key OFF.

Just wanted to let you know we have found the problem. I had 2 reed blocks the screws backed out of and one was still in place but loose only being held by the gasket. the other had fallen down. curiuos to see if this helps my holeshot issue. Thanks for your input!

...and that power loss from the loose reed blocks didn't show up in the cylinder drop test????

Wasn't there a chuffing sound and blowback coming out of the throttle body intakes while the motor was running?????

Thats how he found it when he took the air box off was the blow back. It did not show on the drop down test. neither of us could hear it while air box was on.
