Praying Sprint 207 fs value question

Hey, first post so hope its in the correct spot.

I may have the opportunity to purchase a 1996 Sprint 207 FS with a 150 johnson fastrike on it. The boat is in very good condition and its been owned by the same person the entire time. He has kept it in the garage for the most part and used it little. I have been using it for the past two weeks and while there are somethings that aren't great about it being a fish and ski, if he would make a great deal I'd buy it for my first glass boat. Only thing wrong with it that I can find is the depth finder in the dash Lowrance 3500 doesn't read correctly, it usually just flashes 0.0. It will run about 56 MPH with a gps with two people in the boat.

Anyway, is there any valid way to find a value on this boat? I've tried NADA and really haven't found a good value. I'm thinking I could buy it from him for approximately $4,000 and just looking for any advice on price or the boat itself.

Thanks for the help, been reading for weeks, just never posted.

When you go to NADA you have to figure everything seperate to get a true value. IE: boat, engine, trailer, acc......I would think the 207 with a 150 is seriously underpowered. Seeing as you've ran the rig for a couple weeks and like it, I can't see the price being a problem.
    BTW, Welcome Aboard!

In my mind that makes it a better deal....no matter what NADA says, If it's worth it to you.......
