Looks like you found your rattling. You will definatly need a sleeve on that cylinder ain't gonna save that with a bore job.

Ok, Thanks! How does the old sleeve come out? press it out press in a new one?
Havent broken down the rest of the engine, should i be concerend about crank bearings?

Seeing how i could possibly sink a grand in this engine and it hasn't beeen rebuilt before, it would be smart to do a complete rebuild ie..hone good cylinders, sleeve bad one, new crank bearings.

    Thanks guys!

The motor will have to be torn down completly, the block cylinder side will need to go to a quality machine shop. In the oven it goes and when the block reaches that certain magical temp out the sleeve comes, The tech has x amount of seconds to insert the new sleeve and line up the ports. The block cools then gets honed. You will need a complete piston set for that cylinder (be aware that port and starboard are different part numbers), a set of needle bearings and possibly new rod bearings. You will know once you look at the crank. If your gonna keep it then it would be wise to order a complete set. Time for a bona-fide shop manual if you are going to do it yourself!!! Might as well order a gasket set while you are at it. Have fun.

Make sure to find out the cause before you put it back into use. If a carbed model, make sure to clean and rebuild them.....
