Found a rather large tree stump this past Saturday with my boat and motor running about 20 or so. Put a 3 foot crack and hole in the bottom of my boat and bent the propshaft and nicked the prop a little. Just want some help and what all may be damaged on the motor after a hit like that. The boat is at my local BRP shop and so far for the motor all that they say it needs is a propshaft and a good looking over. Just curious as to what is usually damaged when the prop and L/U hit something like this? The gearcase looks fine except for a little bit of a mark down the side of it where it deflected off of the stump. While limping the boat back to the trailer it had a severe vibration in it about 2,500 RPM's. Ol'e Johnson still hung in there though. It is a 99 j200pleen.![]()
