    Anyone with an Agribusiness Degree?!?

    Graduated in December with an agribusiness degree and am having trouble finding a job. Any suggestions??

    food industry................specifically, poultry.....try for teh fully cooked/ready to eat side....cleaner and challenging.......high demand and high stress but it will get you some manufacturing experience...............it's where I started and it helped me be successful.......right out of school, you should enter around $45-55K depending on location

    Fert or Seed companies...........prepare for a lot of moving around.
    Sales is a good entry point.

    Look online at regional retailers in your area. Southern States, Windfield, and Land o Lakes. Also there are placement services out there.

    My sister got that degree from PSU. She's working as an imagining/xray tech at one of the vet surgical centers where she lives.

    Move to St Louis. I have 4 different friends that work at Monsanto, one of them is at a very high level and I'm here to tell you it's an incredible place to work. They offer very high pay, liberal vacation time and benefits as well as a top notch campus. They're even closed from Christmas till after New years, it's like an extra week of vacation! Either way, good luck finding your gig!
