Lots of good info here via search...but most guys would say this is a great hull...do your homework on the motor.
Pimpin' ain't easy, but it's necessary.
What's hanging on the back? If it is the Merc 250 XS, it is a great combo. I would be leary of the 225 Rude, just due to under powered rig. Good luck
I would check all the lids for cracks/delamination. They should feel solid when you stand or walk on them. A cracked lid is not a deal breaker. They can be replaced, but it will usually cost a few hundred dollars.
The seals around the lids will usually start coming apart too. Those are also easily replaced and cheap.
I would take a good, long, look at the bottom. Make sure there are no gouges or big chips in the gelcoat. Minor gelcoat repairs can add up quickly.
The boat is a solid platform. There are no "bads" about the hull. Just make sure everything works, and take note of any minor flaws that you would want to fix.

Is this it?
This one looks pretty sweet. It's the same color as mine.![]()
The only thing I would be concerned with is the trolling motor. It is a big boat, and it would be a lot better with the 36v/101lb. Minn Kota. I would also make damn sure it has an "extra" ingition key under the dash. Those push button key pads are subject to short out without notice.I like my rocker switches.

Nope thats not the one im looking at, I believe the one im going to look at has a 225 opti on it. I have a mercury now and havent had any major troubles with it so fingers crossed this one wont either. I notice alot of guys changing out the instrument panels on the dash and bow how easy/difficult is this to do or would I just be better off using ram mounts?
RAM mounts are easy to install. The dash/bow panels would require a little more work. You would also have to order the parts. They usually run about $120-$150 each.
Hmmm....a 225hp? That's a little underpowered. If it's a 2003 motor, then there won't be any warranty left. Here's what I would do. Send your flywheel and ECU to Eric Simon (http://www.simonmotorsports.com/). When you get it put back together, it will run like a 250 ProXs.![]()

You will love it ,I have the same year and had a 225 opti on it but recently upgraded to 250 pro XS,the 225 ran about 68 with 24 fury but awsome rig
