    My boat won't start

I tried to romove one of the batteries to replace it with a new one. I could not get it out because the opening is to small. Anyway when I hooked it up again everything worked except the key start and the trim on the throttle. I checked all the wires and fuses but it still doesn't work. Any help would be great

Does trim on the motor still work? Test all the fuses with a meter. And the battery not coming out a be a problem further down the road.

A boat that old I suspect maybe a bad key switch? Mines an '84 and it went bad on me and had to replace it.

Do have the motor ground and positive hooked up and good and tight with no corrosion on the post or wire?
