    2002 TR20 In Dash Mount

I purchased a new to me 2002 TR20. In the dash is a working Lowrance Flasher unit. I have a Humminbird 788c that I would like to mount in dash where the flasher is located. The 788 will be a secondary unit. I have a 1198 that will be used primarily at the console. First question, is this even possible with the dash I have. The gauges, including the flasher are recessed. Secondly, if possible to mount, how? Any advice is welcome. Thanks

You should be able to remove the flasher and cut a hole for the Humminbird. I would make a teplate out of cardboard the same size as the graph and make sure it will fit in between all the guages. Here is a picture of my HDS-7 in my 2003 TR-21

Give C&O a call.......get one of these, instead of cutting your dash.

I have a hds 5 in my 2001 and it fills the area up. AFTER I started cutting it out is only when I realized it was gonna be close. I used a dremel to cut mine out, the orginal square hole was not enough for the HDS.
Be sure to check the out line of the screen too, as my unit is very close to the shroud and the screen cover barely fits.
