    Water On the Back Deck

Every time I stop I get water on the back deck. I switched jack plates over the winter and get a lot more water this year. What is the cause? Should I put a plate on the bottom of the jackplate? I have heard of guys inflating rubber balls inside the space. Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks!

Call pit stop have Jr billed you a plate for jack plate or someone local. Put 2 ball in back feather the gas pedal that will stop some of the water.

Yea get you a plate to go under the jp, i also added a foil to my cav plate,If you're in deep enough water, trim your motor down all the way when coming off plane and feather the throttle as it's coming down, problem solved.

with these types of boats you kinda have to feather your stops. meaning you sorta slow to a stop. know what I mean ?........pardon my grammer .....

I have been gliding in after coming off plane, but it seems to sink the rear when you stop. I bought 2 bouncey balls today and am going to inflate them in the gap tomorrow. Should help a bunch. Thanks! Ryan

You can also try a tire intertube. That's what I used. Seems to have more buoyancy than a few balls. Just lay it in there any way you can and inflate it.
