XD 100 oil cost and any other maintenance suggestions

I just purchased an 04' Ranger 519 with an 04 'Evinrude 200 H.O. What should I expect to pay for oil XD100? What other maintenance tips do you suggest for this motor? Should I run ring free with the XD100 oil?

$27-$35/ gallon less if they have it in bulk. no need for ring free if you run the XD-100.

I just found another local dealer selling XD100 and they have it for $37 a gal. XD50 for $35 (thought that was pretty high) which makes the buying decision pretty easy. $2 more for no decarb, cold weather oil flow and less smoke.

its dang near 40.00 a gallon here.what gets me is how come it went up in price when oil did.that stuff is synthetic there aint no crude in it !!!!

Started priced XD100 here in Ontario.
First price from Dundas Marine in Waterdown, Ont. $54.95 per US gallon cdn plus provincial and goods and services tax at 14% equals $62.65 cdn or $55.80 US per gallon. Hoping someone sells it in bulk.

So who is screwing who Mr BRP?, there must be a recommended retail price sale price for XD100 what is it, sure dealers have their markup plus shipping costs, so who's ripping us all off and by how much. and remember this stuf is synthetic.

It's called a capital market, dealer can charge as much as the market will pay. BRP is not screwing anyone, when was the last time you paid recommended list price for a new truck, same here, each dealer has a different selling price.

The dealer 6 blocks from my house wants $43.99 per gallon jug for xd 100. And they want #37.99 for xd 50. Another dealer here wants $39.99 gal for xd 100 and $35.99 for xd 100. Crazy that you can get such a big price difference in a 7 mile radius. I think I will go to the guy selling it for $27.50 and while I'm there I might buy something else from him. I am going to tell everyone else I know that is running xd 100 or 50 to go there

Yeah, that's just like shopping for milk, butter, eggs, cereal, fruits, and meats. In a 7 mile radius, the stores in my area all have different prices. That's crazy, isn't it?

Maybe the government should pass some laws making it illegal to sell items at a different price that what other stores do. We could have a whole new type of police force, armed of course, that goes around comparing what similar items cost at the different establishments. The Internet would have to be included also. Also, think of the hassle all the drug dealers would have to put up with, guaranteeing that thier stuff is sold at the same price as what the New York crowd pays for.

couple of cases if you're not running an ETEC or if you're stocking up in the event the Government begins to ration oil products then cool, but if you got an ETEC, I think you may have to use some of that XD100 with vinegar on your salads to ever go through that much oil-----that's the good thing about ETECs...

Not running a etec,95 150 Faststrike,but with the prices going up on oil I would like to stock up. Rick
