If your running a Croxtonized 28TXP on a 202/250 HPDI combo post your engine height, PVS plugs, speed, and RPM's. Thanks guys, I am trying to get mine dialed in and this will save me some time.

Won't work Mark. All of these things are different, plus the variables are different.

My 27 t will run 82 gps Mark B&B how much better can it get with a 28 txp....??? I've got a killer hole shot with full Tourney Load. MARK hows your hole shot with full Tourney Load setup to fish. I like a great hole shot and good top end I don't like to struggle getting on plane with full Tourney load.

Rebel's right every hull and motor combo sets up different. If you want the most out of your rig your going to have to put in the time to set it up. Every time you run a new prop you have to reset. NO prop is the same, every hull responds to a prop a little different. You could take the TXP off another Blazer and it's going to take a little different set up to run the same. And then it may run faster or slower.

Put in the time and you'll know it's the way you want it.

I know every set up is different. I recently had Mark work my TXP and I don't know if I should raise my motor or lower it. I have been running it at 3/4" below pad. It would run 81 @ 5600 any day. I went to the lake Saturday ( with the the newly worked prop) and it would only run 77.8 @ 5700rpm 3/4" below pad. I am hoping I can raise my motor and get the mph back. I tried the large PVS plugs and it blew out terrible, I went to the medium and it was better. I was just wanting a base line from you guys. Some where to start.

I run mine even with the pad at 6000 rpm. The PVS plugs are trial and error.

Have you talked to Mark about the results. What did you have him do and for what reasons. Something sounds funny about your results and are you sure It's YOUR prop. Not trying to start anything cause Mark has done most all of my work and it's always been exactly what I want. Things do happen.

I don't think Mark did anything wrong, I think I just need to change my set-up. For what ever reason I have had to run the stock TXP lower than most people to get any speed out of it. The higher I ran the TXP the lower my RPM and speed. Now that Mark has worked it I think I may need to come up with the motor.

Sounds like it was loosened up a little too much. Send it back with the number and he can fix it.

It may have been Greg but I really couldn't run it enough to tell, it was very rough!! I think I may just need to raise my motor some, it had really good bow lift, just not enough stern lift. I will run it again this weekend in better water and play with engine height and if the speed is not there i will get with Mark.

yes, got the prop, but no true numbers yet.......I put the prop on, but had 3 people in the boat with extra gear/tackle, full tank of fuel, live well half full,,,,,,it wasn't a fair match up to the 27p trophy plus yet..... the hole shot was slow, but mid-range & top end wasn't bad, even with the extra weight.........I ran it up to 70 gps and it handled very well..........@ 5450 rpm's & 20# water...... got to work on the hole shot & I jacked the motor up another 1/2" and hope to test this weekend if the weather permits........ Ricky196 it might not get much over 72-73 mph, but it was a smooth stable ride at 70 mph,,,,, very little chime......
