    Re: rod holders (Rodney)

My little brother is a journeyman toolmaker. He runs and programs a cnc mill. He made up a set for his stratos that look just like the mooseheads in my 05 champ. They were beautiful and custom fit.
We're going to make some up for my 202. When we do I'll post some pics...

    Re: rod holders (zip)

Scotty downriggers makes some real slick and lightweight flush mount rod holders that I mounted where my cleats were. The original Blazer cleats kept getting caught in my line and net as well as jabbing me in the ribs when I leaned over the boat on the trailer. The best part is they also sell a cleat eye that fits in the same holder so you have the same flush mount serving dual duty. I just reread your post and I guess you mean rod holders for the rodlocker ; the ones I described hold your rod while fishing .--- mike

OK! ZIP. I found a rod organizer system for you. It's the same one that Ranger puts in thiers. Go to http://www.bassboatcarpets.com it's under products, then boatparts, and then boat accessories page three. They will work on either side. My dad has a Z20 and thier light, work good, and look sharp.

    ZIP,
If you're still looking, send me an e-mail (rdblsb2@verizon.net) and I'll send picutures of my system. And it's less than 1/2 the sale price of the ranger system noted. In fact, I designed it for my Ranger and it works like a charm .
    Thanks,
    RB
