Speed, Set Up, Weight Question

Ok,
Ive had my boat a few months now, had it out, ran it a bit. Still learning to deal with the chine walk. Today went out with two buddies and fished. Weird thing I noticed today. With three people in the boat, I got it to 70 before it started to walk, when its just me, or two people, it starts to walk at 63 or 64. Is this normal??

I have a 202 with a 225 EFI on it!!!

The extra weight kept the boat balanced. You just need to work on your set up, and weight distribution to help get rid of the chine walk.

My 202 handled much better when it was me and a partner versus when it was just me. I couldn't go any higher with my motor, so I tried working with the weight balance. Although I got it better, it never was as good as just adding a second person.

Same here!! I have done all my WOT runs with a guy from work as my ballist. 150 lbs makes a world of difference. He's handy he like's it and it works for me. Mike L is sending me a few props to try, a 28TXP three blade and a 27TXP 4 blade. As soon as we get some sunshine and a little warmer weather, I am going to run these alone and lite. Marcus. take all your heavier tackle and put it in the left side storage compartment, then fill the left side L/Well about half full and your weight should be perfect! Or either fill the left tank all the way up and leave right side about 2/3 of a tank either way will work great! Hope this help's.

Ya that's my partner gas on the left side and as much Tackle I can fit in the left storage porkfrog got it works all the time
