I am thinking about moving my in dash finder over to the right on a RAM mount... just curious if any of you all have done this and if so, what did you put in place of the unit in the dash ?

Why put a blank cover? Come on man, pimp that ride. Put a dvd player in there!!!
That would cause your partner to crap their drawers as you set down in the seat and say 'Hang on just a second, I need to wait for my theme music.' And then Top Gun starts playing with the intro song....

I would classify putting a dvd player in the dash of your boat as 'pimping your ride'.

Hey there Jeff, I had CandO take mine out of the console and they put a nice piece of woodgrain to cover the hole and switched my Lowrance to the Ram mount. In the middle of the cover plate I had them put my hydraulic plate gauge and the stealth charging gauge there and it looks like it came this way from the factory...let us know what u decide to do...
