Bass- the Blackhawk is built different than your boat. It doesn't have the customary War Eagle "rail" that will accept accessories and/or hide wire as your boat does. Interested in his battery answer tho

your in-dash install is INCREDIBLE. I know the dash didn'yt come with that HDS in there- VERY IMPRESSIVE. Sent you a pm.
I'm running 6AG, and you are correct , I put the batteries up front to level things out. It get on plane in less than 2 boat lengths. The TM also has more power with such a short wire run.
Nice looking graph install. The dash is very clean. What speeds you get with the 115 and the jack plate and what prop you running?

I know this is Bass boat central but I will share this anyway. I also installed the a Beavertail 1800 series (which I had from my 860) blind on it for duck hunting. If anyone orders one for their WE Blackhawk, I can offer 2 pieces of advice.
1- Order the 2200 series.
2- You will need to request that they send the longer feet in order for the blind to fit correctly on the Blackhawks rails.
Swamp- i agree that this is Bass Boat Central-- but my Blackhawk will do more than it's share of feather chasing too and i for one apprteciate your sharing your blind experiences. I am ready for my dang boat to come in!
Lots of guys duck hunt and use there boats for other things. Especially on this forum.![]()

Mighty fine looking rig. What king of speed do you get with that 115 and what prop did you go with?
Thanks! Fastest I've seen was 53 on my GPS . I put a MW stainless Apollo 13 1/8 x 19.
Wow that pretty good speed with a 19P prop. What rpm are you turning? Would have to be at least 6400-6500 with that prop.![]()

Nice looking boat and I hope it serves you well. The WE just won't stand up to the big water pounding around here. Several buddies have owned or still do own them and all of them have had cracked welds. Not cracks through the hull but cracking/breaking of just about every other structural component in them. I've got one buddy with a 1648 that has had to have his rewelded 3 times now. All of this is just from banging around on KY Lake waves and not running over stumps or logs.
It's not so much if you win or lose - it's how you shoot the flaming arrow while riding a camel.
Really? I would figure that 115 would spin a 19P to 6000+ easily. They are rated for 6300 and have a slighlty lower ratio than the merc at 2.15:1. Idk how much gear you carry tho.![]()

That Kentucky Lake will bust a many of them up when it gets stirred up. I have been caught out in it when you go down between swells and can't hardly see daylight, but thank goodness I have outground being anywhere out there when its like that. I definitely respect it for sure.
I made a rear trolling motor mount that fit in the lift handle on the 648 and a dog ramp. Go Light mount for the 648. Flush mount marine radio in the center console of the 860,
Don't believe that I said that at all, smart arse. I can give you the name and phone numbers of 4 different WE owners right now who you can call and ask about busted boats. All of them busted by KY Lake waves through constant jarring and twisting. No stumps, logs, rocks or other forest objects involved.

Quakr- what's your point? Your sparring (if you wanna call it that0 with a multi War Eagle owner. I'm a multi War Eagle owner too. It's all good brother. Nobody claimed they were perfect and everybody knows how punishing the lake can be in your part of the world . i do especially because it's my part of the world too unless your from a different Murray that's 20 minutes from Paris Landing.
