can i add the bolt on dual console to a 2001 202

I am not 100% sure but, I don't think so. I believe it has to be an 03 model or newer.

not without having some fabrication work done on the fiberglass. Best thing to do would be to contact George at the blazer Plant and see if it can even be done. I would Imagine it would be pretty costly.

That is correct, they started making the modular consoles in 03

Not real sure but my 2002 202 has a "Bolt-On" console. The first year that Blazer switched to a more rounded cap was 2002 or so I've been told. I think the new consoles were part of the change. I've been thinking of adding a passenger console for the last few year, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
