I'm pretty sure the falcon bucuu uses the old "original" blank that was made in china and assembled here. I have 2 bucuu's and I wished I spent the little bit extra on lowriders. I love my lowriders.

All Kistler rods are assembled in the USA. And all, except the entry level "pro series" of rods, use blanks built by North Forks Composits, Gary Loomis company.

Kistler KLX can be had on sale on their site from 129-159. Well worth the little extra for u. American made north fork composite blanks. You'll be VERY pleased u went up a little extra $ I got 2 and liked them so much I ordered 4 more. Don't think u can find any comparable or better until u get into the 250-300 range.

Typical thread,OP asked for ROD/REEL COMBOS that are affordable,100 bucks or less and hears the names of the highest priced rod makers out there and no one even mentioned reels.

Hammer Rods are over the budget listed by the OP, but they are US made rods, and are a really nice rod at their price point. The Tackle Trap is happy to have them and the owners of Hammer Rods, Shane and Sandie Cox are genuinely good folks. Here is a link to them on our website. If anyone is interested in learning more about Hammer Rods, please give us a call at the shop. 256 281 6160.
