For curiosity...what prop? Is that the same prop used in the BWB testing?

29 T-1. It came with a Merc 29 Tempest.......rev limiter came way too quick with the Merc.

It looks like it's already sold.......unless something goes wrong it will leave tuesday afternoon. I couldn't split the engine tho.....

Thanks, Todd. In the article. BWB spec'd a 29 Yamaha but did not say a T1 specifically.

Make sure the dude that buys it gets on the boards....or reports through you. We need keep tabs on the boat to get some real life numbers 1) to compare w/ BWB numbers and 2) for inforamtion to all of us who are looking at performing the mods.

Also...is the jack-plate still set the same as when Hydrotech ran the boat? If so, take a measurement for me please (prop shaft relative to pad) . They did not specificy in the BWB article.

Good deal Todd. Zeek, Wayne with Hydro Tec told me the highest they have run a HPDI on a Blazer is 1/2in. above, with most around even to a 1/4 above.

I've not changed a thing since it arrived......it was pretty we'll tweaked when HydroTec and the Craft's sent it to me. It has a nosebleed holeshot and will get from 0 to 70 very quick!

My owners 210/250 XS Opti will be in for our Blazer demo shortly. This 05 202 has been a terror here in Middle Tn.....I get calls every Monday from folks who got passed by it on saturday and sunday.

    Todd,

Just curious but you mentioned that this rig has a warranty through 2010. Will Yamaha still warranty a motor that has a Hydrotec Phase-II kit installed? I would love to install a phase kit on my HPDI but figured I would be flushing the 5-year warranty down the drain as soon as I did. Thanks.

I won't say there wouldn't be any issue.....there's some common sense steps to be taken if it needs repair to be sure there's no issue with Yamaha.
