    Blazer Speeds

    Hi, please post your blazer model and speed (motar,prop,ect). I am currently in the lookings for a fast bass boat that is also fun to fish out of.

    2002 Blazer 202 with 250 Vmax 27T yamaha prop tweaked by Mark Croxton best speed so far is 81.6 tourney loaded.

    Can you only get yamaha's on blazers (new blazers)? I mean dont get me wrong i like yamahas but i'm kinda for merc xs's or the etec.

    I know you can get it with a merc. Just bought one this year and mercury shipped the motor to blazer to be rigged. Not sure about the etec.

    Got it back in march. Its a 202 dc with a merc 280. Second blazer Ive owned, and I love it

    Thanks. Best so far is 90. Need to try some more props and play with engine highth. I think it has a little more to gain. Plan on takin it to a guy this fall to help me get this thing movin..

    Only 90?...and you think you need to get that thing moving...man you need to ride w/ me at the blistering top speed of 40 ( that's speedo so it's probably only like 35). Man that's a nice boat you got there!

    That is a beautiful boat, but am I missing something? Does 202 DC not mean dual console? If so, I think my eyes are deceiving me.

    Jim202 that is a nice looking rig! The only thing that would have really made to pop it if the 280 would have been a short shaft!! But then I just like the shorties!!!
