Johnson 140 - 4 Stroke electronics protocol

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what electronics protocol the Johnson 140 Hp 4 stroke runs? the model number is J140PX45D its a 2006 model.

I know there are some parts available to upgrade to NMEA 2000 but I would like to know what the original computer protocol is so I can get some gauges that use this one instead.

That is a Suzuki motor and the have not been offered in the States for quite some time now.

That may be the case although I'm in Aus and they are still selling the very last ones...

I want to know to make some upgrades to the gauges

I would suggest you check with BRP international or Suzuki as I have do not have information on this motor, Sorry.

such a pity they are not doing the Johnsons anymore....great 4 stroke motors! (yeah, I know you can get a Suzuki, but unfortunately there is no suzuki dealer where I live)

Unfortunately, these models ara (are) not NMEA 2000 compatible.
