    What's the rule. A-Rig in Ark & O.I.

Been hearing so much &*(%^$ about it, thought I'd better check for ruling on the A-Rig. Plan on fishing the O.I.

BCB brass has ruled no Alabama Rigs or similar variants at the Invitational.

Word on the street says BASS outlawed the A rig in all BASS sponsored events. Personnally I am happy they did it and all states and clubs should follow suite.

I'm glad to hear that also. It's about the fishing , not the number of fish you can put in the boat. It would be like deer hunting in a pen with nothing but record class deer, and the schedule of when they coming by your stand. JMHO.

Aren't hunters kinda doing that with using feeders and trail cams to show the time the deer are feeding and what's coming up

Whats funny about the banning the A-rig is the guy that we all know, who really isn't the best fisherman, caster, flipping, c-rigg dragg'n, cranking king, can't catch a limit......THIS GUY HAD A CHANCE TO CATCH FIVE WITH THE A-RIG. Now he will just be that guy again who can't flip, cast, crank, etc...Not talking about a pro but the guy in the club that everyone know is donating just for fun. I think the A-rig would of put him on the map.

yeah, but then he would win a couple, sell all his rubber worms, jigs, spinnerbaits -- buy 1/2 dozen A-rigs then enter the opens and Everstarts, then before long would be reading about him crossing the stage and picking up the big money. All the time, knowing he can't flip, cast, crank, c-rigg, etc. -- but has mastered the A-rig.
