Dash spacer for Lowrance

Anyone know if there has a spacer to allow a Lowrance hds-8 for a 2007 Puma console. Maybe anodized red like my guages.

Sorry but,,,Unless you have a current 2012 PII a 998 won't fit in dash at all...You can use one of my mounts or something similar or a RAM that's the choices..

I am in the same situation. I have an HDS-8 I want to flush mount in the dash of my 06 Puma.
I called Basscat today asking about a spacer to help with the mounting of the HDS-8 in my dash. Bobby in parts said that he checked with the guys in the shop and they said "it will fit the older style dash. Use the template that comes with the graph and cut accordingly. Its a tight fit, but will work."

I don't want to doubt BCB, but I am looking at the template now with my dash panel, and I'm still not certain how it would fit without a spacer.

Here are 3 pictures that another BBC'er posted when I asked this question a couple of months ago.
I cannot remember what he said he used as a spacer, but I am pretty sure he said it was 1/4" thick.
