    timer base

186068 1988 evinrude xp 150hp Im waiting on my intake manifold gasket and decided to check my timer base and on driver side it has two blue wires and two white wires coming out and I not geting a continally check on one of the blue wires but on the other side Im getting a beep on all four wires, does this mean a bad timer base, I hope not things are high.

Take a look at the silver cap on the left side of the motor (standing behind it) with the cowling off, the model and ser # is stamped into it
