    Pee hole question

I was out in the garage today waxing my boat and noticed a small piece of wood coming out of my pee hole. I pulled out the small stick with no problem. It appears to me that the pee hole has a for a lack of a better word a nut like thing that could be loosened and took off. Is it ok to loosen the nut and remove the exit hole where the water comes out. I would like to know if there is any thing else blocking the exit hole.

I just replaced my water pump 6 weeks ago and I have been keeping a close eye on the pressure. 5lbs at idle 20 at 5450 rpm so pressure is fine.

The overboard discharge on your motor can be removed and cleaned.

You will need a 13/16 wrench or socket.
