Working in West TX this week, yesterday: 68 degrees. Then one of you knuckleheads left the refrigerator door open. 22 and falling quick. Which I know compared to the polar icecap isn't diddle, when your blood is as thick as mine, it gets hard to move.

Big wad of wet junk between here (Odessa) and home. Dodging stupid deer and now bald tired 30 year old pickups is going to be quite the adventure. And Texas NEVER does diddle to clear roads, they figure it'll melt tomorrow anyway, so why bother?

Yeah it sure is great to live in the south. Our water never gets to hard to put a boat in.

This was at 6:30 this morning, balmy 34 degrees, then it got cold, and the wind was whipping along at 40+ So hard they couldn't run wireline.

Supposed to hit 77f in Redding today, have fished Shasta the last 3 days straight in shirtsleeves. The Spots are on a bite and it has been a blast, my thumb is sore! Gonna do it some more today, the downside is that Ca is in a severe Drought! It is the worst I have seen in my life and is not getting better. I'll try to take a few pic's today. Shasta is well over 100ft down and I think about 30% of Capacity. We are launching off of the old Highway that goes to the bottom of the Sacramento Arm at Sugarloaf. It was there before the Dam was put in. If we don't get some serious weather soon this is going to be a national tragedy. We do grow a huge amount of the worlds food out here!

No rain and no winter this year in Southern California.

Our lakes are empty. Beautiful weather though.

I heard they got snow on both sides of us yesterday, but nary a drop of precipitation here in Abilene. Still ain't living right, I guess ... 43° here now and hardly a cloud in the sky. Warming through the weekend.
