    evinrude/omc help

I have the evinrude/omc style trolling motor, i need a top cap with arrow, also i think the shaft in the top is bent, can i replace just that or what do i need to do? Any help is appreciated. It all works fine but i tried to put my busted cap back on there temporarily and it throw its off when i change direction. As far as operation nothing is hurt.

I too need plastic cap (only). From what I can find, I have to order entire package (arrow included) for like $65? All for a piece of clear plastic. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Parts for the old OMC motors are getting harder to find since OMC (the OMC that made that trollingmotor) is no longer in business. When you do find them, they are not cost effective. In honesty, technology has advanced to the point that that motor is obsolete and ready for replacement.

Good advice right there. You won't be sorry. You'll just wonder why you didn't replace it sooner.
