Rebel Pop R P70 is the ultimate big bass popper bait. If you find an original, buy it! Don't be surprised by $30-$50 price tag. Don't be concerned with color when buying, even if it has no paint - paint jobs are cheap! You're welcome!

I fish ultra clear New Hampshire lakes and do well with lobinas Rico in golden retriever, bone, and riccis recipe. They are a little more $ but you don't have to switch out trebles they already come with gammys.

The Duo Realis Popper 64 in Neo Pearl is awesome for clear water. I use it on the edges of hydrilla and it works great!

For clear water the Ricos are great. Natural colors and bone. Another option is the discontinued T.D. Popper Zero. This bait is smaller and lighter than a Rico, but it is a great subtle popper. Rico fished fast. TD fished slow.

Been throwing Michaels and Rico's for years both excellent spitting baits. Best blurping action poppers the old Bulldog popper and Spro Hydro Pop both discontinued.

Yellow magics work great just make sure you change out the trebles they will bend out. I have one yellow magic with no paint left on it and it's still going strong

I have had good luck with the Don Iovino 'Splash It's' over the years, all I use. I may try out some Megabass this year to see what all the hype is about.

If they have any left, Tackle Warehouse has a special on "blemished" Rico's. 3 for $25. They come without hooks but that's a great deal.

Hand sanded and tweaked Pop-R with a feathered rear hook, painted in my special color.

Does anyone know where you can buy the Norman Pro Pop? I sent an inquiry to the Norman website and never got an answer.
