Rob, if you brought your Bassport down, we'd have to take it to the lake.

I know I'd be thrilled. . . well kinda like those two characters in Ferris Bueller's Day Off that "borrowed" the Ferrari from the parking garage!

Duane, if we keep the Merc in reverse, the hours will decrease...thats a great idea!

Lance, if your gauge placement is the same as mine was, I recommend removing your trim gauge from the upper right side of the dash (your smartcraft gauge has the same function). Fill in that hole with the jack plate indicator thats in an obstructed position behind the steering wheel. The speeds of these boats require constant monitoring of jack plate position and trim angle. I put in a Ritchie compass in the old jackplate hole as a backup to navigation should my Garmin fail.

Its also not a bad idea to re-wire one of your turn signal trim arms to the jackplate.

If you look in your port aft locker, you'll see an area that was specifically designed to mount a Stealth charger. I mounted and wired the Stealth and I love it!

    Good info Rob, sounds familiar.
On the latest models Allison has already placed the gauges in the best locations and the hyd. plate is operated by the 2nd steering trim switch, much more convenient.
