Anybody close to KY lake with a prosport?

I'm seriously considering a XB2003 or an XB-21 prosport. But I really would like to ride and drive one before I get much more serious. Fishing will be #1 with family ski boat being #2 on the priority list. I fish out of a 19' Champ now and I don't want to give up much on the fishing side.

I went from a 19 foot Champion Fish&Ski to an XB2003 about 7 years ago. I love it! I am not a tournament fisherman but the XB more than suits my needs, My wife, daughter, and I just fished from it last week and landed 3 pretty good sized stripers. The boat holds a whole lot more gear than people realize, much more than my Champion ever did. The narrower front deck takes a little getting used to and the boat my "bob" around a little more but everything else for me was a BIG positive.

I don't have a ProSport XB21 but I do have a Bassport XB21. I would be glad to take you and the family a ride and let you drive it. I live about 4 hours from KY lake. I live in Paris KY, just about 20 minuites North of Lexington. If you would like to take a weekend drive with the family just head this direction a let me know a head of time and fuel it up. I do a lot of Tourney fishing with mine. I think you will gain a lot of storage from the 19 foot Champion and the deck room is great on the Xb21's, and rough water ride is awesome (it even handles those KY Lake rollors pretty well ). Our next tourney on KY Lake is October so it may be a while before I can get that direction but you are welcome to visit us, we have local lakes here with in a 45 minuites of the house.

If I can help just hallar.

Thanks guys. I think a XB2003 with a 2.5xs or a Promax my be in my future. A slightly used one that is. I think I'd love an xb21 Prosport, but I don't want to/ won't drop 50K + on a new one.

You and Luke come on down. Maybe you can teach him how to drive by then. I probably can't put you on fish in the fall though. The fall for Bowhunting.

If you guys come down in the fall, you'll have to watch out for gravel bars at the mouths of alot of the bays you know.
