Hey just wondering if anyone has run the fury 24p with this setup. Triton tr186 with mercury 150 xr6. i currently run a 24 trophy plus at 60 mph gps with two people and average fishing load. No jack plate. Seems most folks here like the 23 tempest plus with this setup. I am getting about 5600 rpms wot. Was wondering how the fury would do. Pros and Cons of both? just thinking about getting a new prop. i was told either one would be better for hole shot and top speed.
I already replied in part on the Triton Board but since I have a 23p Tempest + and a 24p Fury, i'll comment here on holeshot. The 23 will have a significant advantage when your loaded up on fuel and have the livewells full. Lightly loaded on fuel, and water in the livewells, the Fury will be a little slow but will run fine. Heavy fuel, heavy water in the wells, two guys, and all the load, the 24 will be slow out of the hole.
